Turn on Dual Pane and each side keeps its own folder, tabs and view. Copy to Other Pane and Move to Other Pane send the selection across, and you can always drag.

Open folders in tabs, pin the ones you use every day, and go straight to one with ⌘1 to ⌘9.
It remembers
Each folder keeps its own view, sort and column widths. Your tabs, panes and windows come back where you left them.
