Third-party notices

What FolderZoom uses that others made, and the terms it is used under: in the app, on this website, and in the pictures on it. Only permissive licenses (MIT, BSD, Apache 2.0) and public domain dedications (CC0) are used. There is no GPL, LGPL or other copyleft code in FolderZoom.

When something is added, updated or removed, this file changes with it.

FolderZoom carries Textual without its math support, whose bundled fonts are not under a permissive license, and reads images in Markdown files from the Mac only.

Each license is reproduced in full below. The same texts ship inside the application (FolderZoom.app/Contents/Resources/Licenses) and can be read in the app under Help › Acknowledgements, with the authors and a link to each project. The About window links to this page.

Everything else in the app is either original work or part of macOS (SwiftUI, AppKit, PDFKit, Quick Look, AVKit, StoreKit and the other system frameworks), which are used under the Apple Developer Program license and are not redistributed.

The full license texts, with the exact versions, are published with every build of the site at https://folderzoom.com/licenses.txt. Vite, which builds the site, is MIT-licensed and is not part of what is published. The contact form's server program is original work.

Photographs

The photos seen in the clips on the home page, and in the demo folders the clips were recorded with, are from Wikimedia Commons, where each is dedicated to the public domain (CC0 1.0) by its photographer; they first appeared on Unsplash. CC0 asks for no credit; we give it anyway.
