The path of the folder you are in, always on screen. Click any part to jump there, or type a path and press Return.

Type a path
Press ⌘L and type. Folder names are completed as you go, and Return takes you there.
Jump up in one click
Every folder in the path is a button. Click one to go there, or use the arrow beside it to see what else is inside.
Copy the path
Copy Path (⌥⌘C) puts the full path of the folder or of the selected files on the clipboard, ready for a terminal, a script or a message.
Back, forward and up
Back and forward remember where you have been in each tab, and Up goes to the folder above.
